Do you enjoy reading/watching reviews about potential products? Thoroughly research a product before you buy it?
Well then this is the series for you!
Personally, I enjoy reading about what products or services were/weren’t successful for other people. I’ve found that when it comes from everyday people, I trust their opinion more because it tends to be more applicable. The Fave Four Series is for all of my like-minded readers who like to collaborate about the quality of products ranging across tons of categories. At the end of every month, I will follow a set theme and share four of my favorite items within that theme. For the month of July, my first Fave Four post will feature my favorite four nail polish colors for the summer season.
Sally Hansen always has pretty decent quality nail polish depending on the line. This “Hard As Nails” line is one of my faves! The formula of theses nail polishes allow for a pigmented look that lasts all week. It dries quickly and finishes beautifully. In my area, these polishes are around $2 each. Such a steal!
How mesmerizing is this blue?! It’s bold, but soft. I enjoy this color no matter what time of year it is! In the spring, it’s perfect with the pastels. It’s a great compliment to the bright colors of summer. It’s a refreshing option in contrast to the darker colors of fall and it’s the perfect standout among the muted colors of winter.
Made In Jade
This green is a nod to nature. Its my favorite color of all time and another one that you can wear year round! It’s bright enough to stand out, but dark enough to compliment to other colors. During the summer, I particularly enjoy pairing this color with shades of peach and light pink.
Who doesn’t love a good Essie nail polish? This brand is known for their superior quality. Essie’s non-toxic take on nail polish is one that I can definitely appreciate. All of Essie’s nail polishes are Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, and Formaldehyde free, making them super safe for pregnant women. Comment down below if you want to know more about why you should care about these chemicals being in your nail polish!
“In Stitches” is a great alternative if you enjoy nude nail colors. It’s a pinky-brown shade that works seamlessly with any color. With my dark skin tone, it allows me to rock color without drawing too much attention. I especially enjoy wearing this color to work to give a fun spin on formal.
Good As Gold
Party anyone?? This color is a great option for all of those summer functions. I wear this color when I’m feeling sassy but classy. This is the perfect shade of gold because it’s shiny enough to actually appear gold without looking cheap. If you love to wear black, the shimmery finish of this color will compliment those all black outfits flawlessly! Have you tried any of these colors? What are your favorite summer shades?
